T4 Stars of 2009 – London Earls Court
Joining the T4 presenters at the Stars of 2009 concert was a very impressive line up of artists and musicians, on hand to bring some delicious aural treats to Earls Court. The T4 concert line up included the likes of JLS, Sugababes, La Roux, Calvin Harris, N-Dubz and Alexandra Burke all performing. Not only did the T4 Stars of 2009 concert feature a veritable who’s who of the music world, there were also be plenty more bits and bobs to keep lucky ticket holders up to their eyeballs in entertainment.
Mobo Awards – 2010
In their 14 year history, the MOBO Awards have, undoubtedly, played an instrumental role in elevating urban music and culture to mainstream popular status in the UK. The Awards continue to attract the largest prime time multicultural audience and boast broadcast access to over 250 million people, due in no small part to the fact that MOBO has played host to the music industry’s finest, witnessing jaw-dropping performances from the cream of both UK and international talent. Over the years A-list artists have included: Janet Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Justin Timberlake, Tina Turner, Jay- Z, LL Cool J, Amy Winehouse, Dizzee Rascal, Estelle, Usher and John Legend to name but a few.
Video Games Awards 2010 – Los Angeles, USA
The Spike Video Game Awards (VGA) is an award show that recognizes the best computer and video games of the year. Hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris, the VGA’s featured live music performances and appearances by popular performers in music, movies, and television. The 2010 VGA’s were the world’s biggest global gaming event broadcasted in over 175 territories worldwide. Additionally, preview trailers for upcoming games were highlighted.
F1 Rocks – Singapore
F1 Rocks Singapore, 2009 was the first diffusion brand of Formula One. Global Live were tasked with staging the stunning 3-night concert around Formula 1’s only night race. The event featured live sets from global superstars Beyoncé, The Black Eyes Peas and No Doubt, and a drew of live audience of over 27,000 music lovers to Singapore’s Fort Canning Park over three nights.
Global Live produced hour-long music performances that were broadcast to 172 countries worldwide, with a global audience estimated at around 26 million viewers. This number is expected to ruse to 30 million once all the scheduled shows have been aired. It was a major staging and televisual achievement in terms of its complexity, scale and viewership.
