Chris was a producer at the BBC, then became a Director at LWT’s The South Bank Show and went on to found Iambic in 1988. In his sixteen years as a director, Steve Cole has amassed a wealth of experience, ranging through arts, music, history, profiles, observational docs, live studio, current affairs and investigative journalism. Since he joined Iambic in 1999, Steve has directed a number of award-winning programmes, including ‘Maria Callas – Living and Dying for Art and Love’ (BBC2/4), ‘The Michael Jackson Story’ (ITV1) ‘Wallace & Gromit Go Chicken (BBC1) and ‘Greta Garbo – A Lone Star’ (ITV), thus contributing to making Iambic Media a high profile leader in its field. He was also co-director of ‘The Winner Takes It All’ for ITV, the BAFTA nominated profile of the Swedish super-group ABBA.
