Bute found immediate success within the advertising community, creating award winning campaigns that would gain him industry wide recognition and ultimately the position of Global Creative Director at Euro/RSCG, now the world’s fifth-largest agency network. While there, Bute worked with global brands such as Intel, Iomega and Cisco. The Intel campaign necessitated working with teams in seven countries, and managing a creative staff of over a hundred. Under his watch, the chip-makers business catapulted from $70 million to over $500 million in revenue. In the process, he helped make Intel one of the worlds most recognized brands by creating the first of many critically acclaimed Super Bowl spots.

Bute instincts led him into the entertainment business where his talent for seamlessly integrating brands with entertainment properties has made him a go to name for networks like ABC, TNT, TBS, Spike, MTV, TV Land, Comedy Central, BBC America, to name a few. Bute is a member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Directors Guild of America.
